Trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) with a capacity of 6,000 m3, equipped with a state-of-the-art exhaust gas treatment system, allowing dredging at the lowest emission levels.

Challenge:

Sea water desalination to obtain 6,000 l/day of drinking water, under highly turbid feed water conditions (dredging), as well as bunkering water treatment.

Complete purification and water treatment package, consisting of:
✔ Gefico “Plug & Play” unit, model AQE-6S, housed in a single frame
✔ Dual pump for operational safety
✔ SF-10 automatic sand filter
✔ Heater assembly with pump and thermostatic valve
✔ 20” active carbon filter
✔ RF-1.5 mineralising filter
✔ UV-4 ultra-violet steriliser
✔ 130 l chlorine dosing module
