Privacy Policy and Data Protection

As a User, GEFICO ENTERPRISE, S.L. (hereinafter, “GEFICO”) hereby informs you of its personal data protection policy so that you may, freely and voluntarily decide to provide us with the personal data that we may require to access the various services and content offered on our website.

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 of the Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals in respect of the processing of personal data and the free circulation of such data (hereinafter, “GDPR”) and the national development regulation that complements it, we inform you:

Queries and requests

To manage queries and requests made by users who visit the portal, through any electronic form available on the website or through email. The questions or fields included in the forms are voluntary except those marked with an asterisk (*), which are required. If you do not answer or fill in the required questions or fields, GEFICO reserves the right not to process the query or request.

Personnel selection

To manage personal data provided by applicants via the existing email address for that purpose on the website. The data provided by the candidates will be processed to evaluate the candidates in current or future personnel selection processes.

Sending business information

Only those people who expressly accept it will receive emails with information about the company, its products and its services. At any time, interested parties may access their data, and exercise their rights of correction, deletion and opposition.

The personal data obtained will be processed for the following purposes:

  • To send electronic bulletins with news about our activity.
  • To inform interested parties of promotions and discounts offered by GEFICO through various means such as, among others, electronic mail, or any other equivalent electronic communication means, such as SMS, or through the making of telephone calls.

 

3. – FOR HOW LONG WILL WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The data provided by the website users through forms, questionnaires or email will only be kept for the time strictly necessary to attend to the interested party’s query or request. Once the query or request has been attended to, the user’s personal data will be deleted, unless a commercial relationship is entered into with the user, in which case their data will be incorporated into the company’s corresponding file.

The data provided by those users of the portal that send us their CVs through the email set up for that purpose, will remain active in the GEFICO database for a period of one (1) year from when the interested party provided that data. After that time, the data provided will remain blocked for as long as the applicable legal regulations absolutely require, after which time it will be deleted.

The data provided by those users of the web portal who register for the commercial communications service and promotions (newsletter) will be retained for the time those users remain registered for the aforementioned service. At any time, the interested party may object to the processing of their data for the sending of information, promotions and commercial communications by GEFICO, by unsubscribing by sending an email to privacidad@cetusglobal.com.

 

4.- WHAT IS THE LEGAL JUSTIFICATION FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

The legal basis for the processing of the GEFICO web portal users’ data is the legitimate interest that the entity has in attending to the queries and requests of users and potential clients and inform anyone interested in the company, its products and services.

The legal basis for the processing of the data of those users who provide their CV is the consent given by the applicant. The legal basis for the processing of the data of those users who expressly request registration for the commercial communications service (newsletter), is the consent of the interested party.

 

5.- THIRD PARTIES INVOLVED IN THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Except where legally required, under no circumstances will we give your personal data to other people or entities without your prior consent.

However, in order to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, in some circumstances we will have to give access to your personal data to entities of the CETUS group in order to deal with your query, suggestion or request or to service providers that provide us processing management services (e.g. technology service providers).

 

6.- RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY

  • You have the right to request access to your personal data: you can ask GEFICO if we are processing your data and what data we are processing.
  • You have the right to request the correction of your personal data (if you consider that it is incorrect) or its deletion (the right to be forgotten).
  • Under certain circumstances, you have the right to limit the processing of your personal data, in which case it will only be stored by the company for use when making or defending claims.
  • Under certain circumstances, and for reasons related to your particular situation, you have the right to object to the processing: GEFICO will stop processing your personal data as you request, except where, for compelling legitimate reasons or for use in legal actions or defence against possible claims it is necessary to continue the processing.
  • The right to data portability: the right to receive the personal data involving the interested party and that has been processed by GEFICO, in a structured, commonly used, mechanically readable format, and to send it to another data processor.<(li>
  • The interested party may exercise these rights by sending an email to privacidad@cetusglobal.com attaching a copy of the DNI or other identifying document.
  • If the interested party does not agree with the way in which GEFICO is processing their data, they may contact the Processing Manager at the postal address given above or the Control Authority for Data Protection, which, in Spain, is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency).

 

7.- HOW DID WE GET YOUR DATA?

The portal users’ personal data that we process is provided directly by the interested party and is essential for managing the request or inquiry made through the questionnaire or web form.

The personal data of job applicants who send us their CVs that we process is contributed directly by the interested party and is essential for the applicant to participate in the selection process.

    • Academic and professional data: training/qualifications, professional experience.

When appropriate, when the interested party has expressly consented to it, the data that we will process to manage the sending of commercial information is that described below.
